The Cleveland Shoots-By maya Peroune and Ximena Gomez

After a comment questioning whether my work relied on my schools studio resources, I launched a self-funded photo series in collaboration with artist Ximena Gomez(my best friend since 8th grade).. Together, we developed the concept, with Ximena leading makeup and me behind the camera. The project aimed to spotlight Cleveland’s creative talent and local culture, challenging the notion that high-end equipment defines quality. Through this work, we highlighted that strong ideas and thoughtful execution are what truly make impactful art. this is a ongoing project that i am really proud of.
